Ryken Construction Ltd. is a solutions based builder who has played an essential role in the development of approximately 316,000 sq. ft. of client built projects with a value of approximately $38,000,000  of commercial and industrial construction.

In addition, the Ryken portfolio includes 116,000  sq. ft. of spec built projects for investors with an approximate value of $13,500,000.  These projects are representative of some thirty-four (34) sites located in Leduc, Nisku and Edmonton, Alberta.

Roger MacDougall

Roger is also a successful family man, a father of two very active sons.  He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1978 and has over thirty years of experience as a general contractor.

Many of these projects were built and developed in Regina, Swift Current, Grande Prairie and Mayerthorpe.  These projects included the IPSCO Steel Mill Maintenance Contract, Pre-engineered warehousing, spec development, builder and build to suit projects.

The last ten years of this thirty year history were as a design builder, general contractor and spec builder, primarily in the Leduc, Nisku and Edmonton area.

In continuing to build relationships, Roger is also committed to the community as a coach for minor hockey and baseball. He sits on the midget league board of governors for the Alberta Central Cities hockey league, has personally donated time and funds to minor hockey and is actively involved in sports activities with his sons.  He is also an active board member of the Nisku Business Association and a member of the Edmonton Construction Association.
